Favorite Brands!

Hey guys! So like most people who love makeup, I have my favorite brands, and least favorite brands. But, today we are going to look at the positive and look at my favorite brands! I have loved everything I have tried from these seven listed brands. Enjoy! (They are in no particular order) 1. The Balm Cosmetics

I first tried The Balm after hearing about their Mary Lou-Manizer ($24). It is the cult favorite highlight, and it does live up to its hype. I think it is probably my favorite product by them. When The Balm was on Hautelook, I had to up my collection for half the price. Occasionally they come back, so that's the best place to get their products. I also love their liquid lipsticks! 2. Morphe Brushes

I heard about Morphe Brushes from either Kathleen Lights or Lustrelux on Youtube. These brushes are amazing, especially their elite collection. Most of my brushes are from Morphe. These are super affordable! I also own a few of their palettes (35O, 35D, and 35N), and a bunch of their single shadows. Their single shadows are super affordable at $2.29 each. Their 35 color palettes are only $22.99, so they are affordable as well. All of their shadows are super pigmented and definitely worth checking out! My favorites from Morphe are the E22 brush ($6.99) and the 35O palette ($22.99). 3. Tarte Cosmetics

While Tarte is pricy, I love it. I recently got the Swirl Power Contour and Bronzer Brush ($34) and it just intensified my love for the brand. My favorite products are their Amazonian Clay 12 hr Full Coverage Foundation ($39), that brush I just mentioned, and their Tartelette 2 In Bloom Palette ($45). 4. Anastasia Beverly Hills

The Anastasia Shadow Couture Palette was my first higher end palette and it made me fall in love with the brand. I highly recommend their shadows. My favorite products are their single shadows ($12 each), their highlights ($28), and their Brow Wiz ($21). 5. Too Faced

Oh Too Faced where do I begin? This is my absolute favorite brand. I love everything from them and I can't wait to get more from them. My absolute favorite holy grail product from them is their Chocolate Bar Palette ($49). 6. Kat Von D

My obsession with Kat Von D started with her tattoo liner. Then her studded kiss lipstick. Then her liquid lipstick. And then her eyeshadows. She can do no wrong. My absolute favorite product so far is the Mi Vida Loca Remix palette ($59). Her shadows are so soft and so pigmented. 7. ColourPop!

Last but not least, we have Colourpop! I LOVE this brand and it is so affordable. My favorite product from them is definitely their eyeshadows. They are so unique and so pigmented. And only $5. Brand Review: ColourPop!

Hey guys! So today i'm going to share my opinion on ColourPop! If you have not heard of ColourPop!, it is an indie brand based out of Los Angeles and everything other than sets are under $10! Their website is www.colourpop.com if you are interested. I heard about ColourPop! from Kathleen Lights on Youtube because she created her own eyeshadow quad (Where the Light is, $20) and Lippie Stick and Pencil (Lumiere, $5 each). Since I absolutely love her, I had to buy them. So I am going to break my review down by category. For my pictures, I only included some for each category that I own, because I own a lot of their brand. 1. Super Shock Eyeshadows, $5 each

These eyeshadows are like no other eyeshadow I have ever used. They are so soft. They are like a almost cream to powder kind of formula, but they aren't quite cream and they aren't quite powder. I like to apply them with my finger and then blend with a dense synthetic brush. They are so pigmented, and at $5 each, I am in love. They also have so many colors, with my favorite being the metallics. My favorite is their limited edition birthday shadow they had, which unfortunately is unavailable now. 2. Lippie Stix, $5 each

I love these lipsticks. They aren't incredibly long lasting, but they are so comfortable on the lips and smell amazing. They have so many colors, and they are all gorgeous. My favorites are lumiere, tootsi, cookie, and pinch. 3. Ultra Matte Lip, $6 each

These are kind of a tough one. They are drying and some do crumble on the lips. I heard the newer ones have an improved formula, so I will have to try them. Most of mine are the original colors, and I do have a few of the second set of released colors, which are a little better. However, for $6 they are still worth it. They have wide variety of colors and they are still pretty good. 4. Super Shock Cheek, $8 each

These have the same sort of formula as the shadows. They are super soft and super pigmented. Like with the eyeshadows, I like to apply with my fingers. I use these as a base for powder highlights and blushes. My favorites are the Cruel Intentions Blush, and Wisp Highlight. 5. Creme Gel Liners, $5 each

Now the packaging isn't my favorites on these. The liner sometimes slides out, but otherwise they are amazing. I love these in the waterline. The metallics are beautiful, and the white brightens so well. I do also have a Creme Gel Colour, which are $6 each, but since I only have one, I did not take a picture. But, that is super pigmented. You don't need much to create the perfect wing. So that's my review for ColourPop! They are an awesome and affordable brand, and I highly recommend them! Hey guys! Sorry I haven't posted in a few days, I have been busy! But, I have filmed three videos, one of which will be going up late tonight, the second will go up on Monday, and the third on Wednesday. I'm going to try to start posting videos at least three times a week! I will be back to blogging every day as well! Today, I got my Secret Santa package in the mail, and I went to Sephora! So here we go!

1. Secret Santa Package!

This Secret Santa was put on by @courtneysmakeupcorner and @ambersbeautyspot on Instagram! My Secret Santa was @lizzylish_79! She had me, and I also had her! I am so in love with everything she got me. She got me: the Real Techniques Blush Brush and Sculpting Brush, NYX Skinny Mascara and Matte Liquid Liner (which I am in love with!), Urban Decay Matte Revolution Lipstick in 1993, a mini Benefit Porefessional, a FormulaX Nail Polish, a Sephora Lip Balm, a Buxom highlight, Kat Von D Liquid Lipstick in Bachelorette, and a tin of yummy popcorn! 2. Kat Von D x FormulaX Mercy Studded Kiss Lipstick and Nail Polish

I believe this is a brand new color and I LOVE it! I can't wait to wear both! 3. Too Faced Le Grand Palais Collection

Update...

Hey guys, sorry I haven't posted in a few day. My internet has been down off and on and when it isn't, it is ridiculously slow and won't let me upload videos or make posts. I'm working on a post that I will have to post tomorrow because my internet went down again. I have to use my phone to make this. But I will be at my boyfriend's house so I can post my video and blog post tomorrow. I'm just so sick of this internet and I will be calling to get a different provider on Monday.
