Favorite Makeup Brushes/Tools

So yesterday while I was on Facebook, my friend Angelique had mentioned that she didn't know what brushes to get. So, that gave me the idea to make a post showing my favorite brushes. My favorite brand for brushes is Morphe, because, first of all, they are amazing, and, second, they are affordable. I only own one higher end brush, and that is my MAC 217 brush because it is like no other and is definitely holy grail status. But, even that brush is under $30, so it really isn't too bad for pricing when it is the only high end brush I own. I mean I do also have the Tarte Swirl Power Contour and Bronzer brush, but I got that in a sale deal, and I do have two brushes I will post as alternatives that are less expensive. Well without further ado, here are the brushes and tools I use on a daily, or at least weekly basis: 1. Beauty Blender $20
For a while, I couldn't imagine spending $20 on a freaking sponge. But then, I said screw it and decided to purchase THE Beauty Blender. It is well worth the $20. I now own two. They are the perfect density. I use it to apply foundation and to blend my concealer. I do wet my sponge and then squeeze out any excess water so it is nice and damp. When it is damp, it blends foundation flawlessly. I mean you can get the cheap dupes, but they aren't truly dupes (trust me, i've tried them all). 2. Morphe S19 Brush $7.98
I use this brush for my powder to set my foundation. It is very fluffy and creates a nice light application. 3. Vasanti Professional Foundation Brush $32
So I got this brush in a Boxy Charm, so I did not buy it on my own. I use it to set/brighten my under eyes. You can use any flat foundation brush for this. 4. Tarte Swirl Power Contour and Bronzer Brush $34
As I mentioned in my last video, I got this as part of a special deal. The brush below is a good alternative. However, I LOVE this brush. It is perfection. 5. Morphe MB30 $12.99
This is the perfect brush to contour with when you really want that nice defined contour. 6. Morphe E31 $19.99
This is my favorite brush to buff out my contour, bronzer, blush, etc. It is so dense and just makes everything look perfect. 7. Crown IB126 $11
I mentioned this brush in my blush collection post, but I obviously had to mention it in my favorite brushes post because it truly is holy grail. 8. Morphe M143 $9.99
I use this brush when I want a lighter highlight, or as a start to my highlight. It is a super soft brush. 9. Real Techniques Setting Brush $7.99
This is the brush I mainly use for my highlight. It creates the perfect "on fleek" highlight. 10 Luxie 205 Tapered Blending Brush $12
I love using this brush for my transition shades and for my crease. It is so soft! 11. Crown Tapered Concealer Brush $3.99
So I don't think this is the right brush name, but I couldn't find it, and there is no name on the brush. However, any flat concealer brush will do. I use this to pack eyeshadow on the lid. 12. ELF Professional Shadow Brush $1.49
I use this brush to highlight my brow bone. It is the perfect size, shape, and density. 13. MAC 217 $25
This brush is perfection. I love using it for my crease. 14. Morphe E17 $6.99
I love the Morphe Elite collection! I use this brush for my crease and outer lid. 15. Morphe E22 $6.99
I love this brush for blending everything out. It is nice and dense and makes everything look flawless. 16. Morphe M441 (under $10 currently out of stock)
I use this brush for setting my eyeshadow base with powder, and for light blending. 17. Morphe E36 $4.99
I absolutely love this brush. I use it for the lower lash line. 18. Morphe E39 $3.99
Fun fact: This is actually a lip brush. However, I use it for highlighting my inner corners. 19. Revlon Double Ended Smokey Eye Brush $5.99
I don't use the round end of this brush, only the angled end, and I use it to set black eyeliner in my waterline. 20. Crown 225 Mini Liner Brush $1.97
I love this brush. I use it for my eyebrows when I use a brow pomade. It is the perfect size! 21. Eyebrow Razor $5.99 for three
I use these to clean up my eyebrows and then I use tweezers for any detail work. Thank you for reading this post! I hope you liked it! Let me know in the comments what you would like to see me post about!
