Favorite Palettes!

Hey guys! I wanted to start out my blog with one of my favorite make up items: palettes! I will post my favorite palettes, why I like them, and my favorite shades from each! First I will tell you a little about me! My name is Lexi and I live in a small town in northern New Hampshire. I love makeup! I am an online college student at Arizona State University, and I am a waitress at an upscale inn. So without further ado, here we go for palettes (in no particular order): 1. Tarte Tartelette in Bloom $45

This is my newest palette and I am in love! I had never tried Tarte shadows before this, but once I saw promotional pictures for this palette, I was sold. I bought it the morning it released, even though I was standing in line at airport security. My favorite shadows from this palette so far are: Rocker, Leader, and Funny Girl.I love how versatile the palette is. You could do an every day look, or a smoky nighttime look. The shadows are very soft and blendable. 2. Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette $49

This is probably my favorite palette. I use it so much. The shadows are so pigmented and soft and they blend like a dream. My favorite shades are: Salted Caramel, Milk Chocolate, Semi-Sweet, and Champagne Truffle. 3. The Sola Look iBesos and iGracias $25 each or $45 bundled

I heard about these palettes from Coffee Break with Dani and I ordered them pretty much immediately after seeing her tutorial with the iBesos palette. The colors are so gorgeous. I actually love that there aren't any matte shadows. These colors are VERY pigmented and last all day. My favorite colors are: Ariel from iGracias and then Alexa and Lisette from iBesos. These palettes are extremely affordable and the pans are HUGE! I highly recommend them. 4. Anastasia Beverly Hills Shadow Couture World Traveler (was $30, I don't think it's available anymore)

I feel bad posting this because I do not believe it is available anymore, but it was my first higher end palette and it is absolutely gorgeous. The shadows are buttery and so pigmented. They blend amazingly. My favorite shadows are: Morocco, Pink Champagne, and Fudge. I loved Morocco so much, I bought the individual pan to put in my z palette. 5. Lorac Mega Pro 2 $59

So I love all of these colors, so I will just say my favorite combination: Bisque, Prosecco, Goji, Sorbet, and Cabernet. This palette has it all. I love Lorac's pro shadows. They are so buttery and last so long. They are slightly powdery,so you have to be careful. But whatever. 6. Kat Von D Mi Vida Loca Remix Palette $59

I LOVE Kat Von D's beauty products. Her shadows are no exception. They are probably some of the most pigmented shadows I have ever used. I love how many colors are in the palette. My favorites are: Vox, Strutter, Noble, and Rewind. 7. Morphe 35O Palette $22.99

Ahh the famous 35O palette that is always sold out. So when I bought this palette, I bought it during a presale and got it a month later. However, the wait was well worth it. This palette is so affordable, and the shadows are buttery and super pigmented. My favorites are all the metallic shades. One quick rub and swipe onto the hand or arm shows just how pigmented they are. I gush about them to my boyfriend all the time (he doesn't care). Well thank you all for reading!
